Were the boots that Gogo found actually replaced?
So I'm gonna be really disappointed not knowing who Godot really is. I hate Pozzo, he's a real bastard. Just sayin.

Miriam's questions and comments

1. What exactly is Estragons and Vladimir's relationship? Are they homosexual or do they just always act irrationally with each other?

2. Who is Godot and why is he portrayed at the "Savior?"

3. Why have Estragon's and Vladimir's attitudes change from Act I to Act II? It seems as if they swapped ways of thinking.

4. Are the characters dreaming or did the actions in both acts really occur?
What is the significance of this "Godot" person? And does he exist? It seems like they are waiting for something that will never come...

4/6/12

Soo do Pozzo and Lucky's ailments in Act II represent the abruptness of life? Also why does Vladimir never want to hear about Estragon's dreams?
In the opening of act II why is estragon so resistant of vladimirs touch and embrace?

-Tiana G.

If they hate being together why do they keep ending up with each other?

need help!

in at II on page 57(on the other side) who is "they" that pozzo is referring too when he says "...  one day we were born, one day we shall die, the same day, the same second, is that not enough for you? They give birth astride of a grave, the light dreams an instant, then its night once more".

the end of act II

is everything a dream or is vladmir delusional?  what do y'all think.  because pozzo can't remeber anything or anybody .. and he's blind... the boy cant seem to recognize vladimir and the boy also said it's his first time visiting which it isn't ... and even vladmir comes to question himself  if he's even sleeping
So the title of the play was actually the main idea?
Why has Estragon forgotten everything that happened in Act I by the time they met again in Act II?

4/4/12

Why do Vladimir and Estragon stay together even though they always suggest leaving each other?

is two better than one

In the beginning of the book we are introduce to Estragon and Vladimir then Pozzo and Lucky. Do you think Beckett pairs these charcters for a reason and whats the importance of it?
Is Vladimir really a prince ? If not ,why does he carry a crown inside his hat?
Okay so did they know the stranger or not?
Ok, so, I'm confused about everything...so starting from the beginning. Why can't Gogo get his boots off and what happened to him. Why is he always forgetting things?
I get it.. and everything they did, including when they thought they were being chased, that was all just to give them some purpose besides just "waiting for Godot", right? It is as if we are all essentially "waiting for Godot"--waiting for something to come along in our lives to give us purpose and meaning until "Godot comes."
I get it!

Godot

Why does Godot sent a child instead of coming himself????
I haven't finished ACT II, but I really want to know.. Godot was never coming was he? (please don't say read and find out..I will finish it)
