Miriam's questions and comments

1. What exactly is Estragons and Vladimir's relationship? Are they homosexual or do they just always act irrationally with each other?

2. Who is Godot and why is he portrayed at the "Savior?"

3. Why have Estragon's and Vladimir's attitudes change from Act I to Act II? It seems as if they swapped ways of thinking.

4. Are the characters dreaming or did the actions in both acts really occur?

I can answer number 1 for you! Estragon and Vladimir are not homosexual lol. I also thought the same thing since Beckett protrays them to have marital characteristics like they tend to argue a lot, they complement each other and they physically embrace(i.e. hugs). But they arent married. They have an overly emotional and physical brotherly love/relationship.

#4 They are not dreaming but reality is definitely shifted. The characters are extreme in their personality but this highlights certain things. They really occur but the element of absurdity deviates from reality a little bit.
