Is Vladimir really a prince ? If not ,why does he carry a crown inside his hat?

    NO his is not a prince. In fact, him and Estragon are homeless men. This book contains many British terms... the crown of his hat is just referring to the top part of his hat not an actual crown that royalty wears.
