How long have they been waiting for Godot?

  1. Didi and Gogo have been waiting for Godot ever since they came to the place they are waiting in other words for ever some educators like to compare it to how Christians are waiting for the second coming of Christ. The whole point of These two men waiting for Godot just prove the theory that the main impulse of human existence is hope.

  2. Well you see, they may have been waiting for Godot all their lives or they may have been waiting for Godot for the duration of the play. Either way, they were hopeful that Godot would come. Fortunately or unfortunately, the last thing humans hold on to is hope, until one takes it away.

I would say about 2 or 3 days.

  4. Honestly, I can't give you a definant answer to that. The play only covers two days, but I believe that they have been waiting for Godot for a long period of time, months maybe even years. This is proven based off of the "sudden" season change, and how Pozzo, Lucky and the boy don't recognize Didi and Gogo. This could represent the constant wait people do, waiting for approval and success, having hope.
